Terms
The short version: you approve the exact letter and price, then we print and mail it.
What you're buying
One printed letter: black-and-white, single-sided U.S. Letter pages in an envelope, sent USPS First-Class to one address in a U.S. state or Washington, DC. Uploaded PDFs include one extra address page, priced in the total.
Approving a letter
Review every page, both addresses, and the price before paying. Paying approves mailing that exact version. Editing an unpaid letter creates a new version with a new price. We never charge more after you pay. With a saved card, clicking Pay on the review page approves and pays for that exact version in one step; nothing is charged without that click. If an approved ChatGPT payment sheet is available, reviewing every page and both addresses and confirming its exact total authorizes the same revision. A declined payment does not authorize mailing. If a payment response is uncertain, check order status or contact support before starting another payment.
Acceptable use
You must have permission to use the content and return address. Threatening, harassing, fraudulent, or impersonating mail isn't allowed.
You may send only lawful content. By using Mail This Letter, you agree to comply with its terms and all applicable laws and regulations. You are solely responsible for what you send and how you use the service. Mail This Letter does not provide legal advice.
Cancellations and refunds
Unpaid drafts can be discarded anytime. A paid letter can be canceled for a full refund until it's sent to the printer. After that, cancellation depends on the printer's production window and stays pending until confirmed. Mail that has been posted can't be recalled. We absorb payment-processing fees on refunds.
Delivery
Postal scans aren't proof of receipt. We don't guarantee delivery dates, signatures, or legal filing deadlines. Missing scans don't trigger automatic refunds or remailing; contact support and we'll look into it.
